High Street To Close Four Days For Roadwork Starting July 14
READING — High Street will close for four days of roadwork later this month, while state officials confirmed new funding assistance for the Reading Council on Aging as part of a $63.4 billion state budget.

High Street will be closed from July 14 through July 17 for roadwork, according to a Town Hall News Flash alert. Local businesses along the corridor will remain open and accessible during the closure, the town said.
The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project will continue truck-mounted aerosol spraying in Reading throughout the summer to manage mosquito populations, per the town's News Flash feed. Residents can check the posted schedule for spraying dates in their area.
Town Manager Jayne Wellman is also featured in a new episode of "Reading Between the Lines," the Town Hall and RCTV podcast, discussing upcoming changes to the town's rubbish and recycling program.
