Most Reading deeds in August involve family trusts, only 5 of 17 sales disclose a price

Reading recorded 17 property transfers between July 31 and Aug. 29, but only five carried a disclosed sale price, ranging from $895,000 to $1,510,000 with a median of $950,000. The other 12 transfers moved property into family or revocable trusts without disclosing a price, a pattern that limits comparison to prior months. Sales were spread across 16 different streets with no clustering, and the data does not indicate property type or square footage.
