Reading Deeds Show $2.25 Million Top Sale as Nearly Half of Transfers Skip Price Disclosure
Reading recorded 19 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, with disclosed prices ranging from $466,900 to $2.25 million and a median of $962,000 among the 11 sales with reported figures. The month's top sale was 885 Main St. at $2,250,000, sold by Joseph P. Norden to Reading ECE RE LLC. Nearly half the recorded deeds, eight of 19, listed no sale price, and most of those appear to be family or trust transfers rather than open-market sales. Main Street was the only street with more than one recorded transfer this period.
