Reading October Home Sales Span $15,000 to $1.25 Million as Trust Transfers Dominate Deed Activity

Reading recorded 19 property transfers in October, but only seven carried a sale price, ranging from $15,000 to $1,251,000 with a median of $803,000. The top sale was 44 Pennsylvania Ave. at $1,251,000, followed closely by 21 Bond St. at $1,150,000.

The remaining 12 transfers were nominal-consideration conveyances, mostly moving property into family trusts, and are not counted as market sales. With just seven priced sales and one notable low outlier at $15,000 on Grove Street, the data shows limited volume rather than a clear directional trend this month.
