Reading Records 19 Property Sales in Late Summer, Led by $1.5 Million Haverhill Street Deal

Reading recorded 19 property transfers between July 24 and Aug. 22, according to South Middlesex Registry of Deeds filings. Eleven sales disclosed a price, ranging from $625,000 to $1,495,000, with a median of $950,000. The month's top sale was 409 Haverhill St. at $1,495,000, followed closely by 863 Main St. at $1,462,500. Pearl Street and Grove Street each saw two recorded sales. Of the eight transactions without a disclosed price, most were transfers within the same family, into trusts or estates, rather than open-market sales, a pattern common in deed data and not itself a market signal.
