Reading Set To Get Free Electric Shuttle Service
Reading is getting a new free, on-demand electric shuttle service that will offer door-to-door rides within town and to Wakefield, plus connections to Winchester Hospital and the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, the town announced this week.

The Town of Reading announced that a free, on-demand, all-electric regional shuttle called The Link is coming to the community, providing door-to-door transportation within Reading and Wakefield as well as trips to Winchester Hospital and the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, according to a News Flash posted on the town's website. Reading Patch also covered the shuttle's arrival this week, reporting that The Link will operate within two separate service zones: Woburn-Burlington and Reading-Wakefield, a story the town's News Flash also covered today.
Separately, the town announced that registration is open for Reading Recreation's fall programs, with details and sign-ups available through the department's online registration portal.
