Reading Center For Active Living Project Advances, Town Says

Work is visibly progressing at the site of Reading's planned Center for Active Living, the town announced, while a Reading Patch report weighs what a stalled $6.5 million override could mean for municipal services.

Town officials said this weekend that construction and site work for the Reading Center for Active Living, known as ReCAL, is moving forward, though no detailed completion timeline was released.

The East Middlesex Mosquito Control Project continues truck-mounted aerosol spraying around Reading through the summer. Residents can check the town's website for the current spraying schedule.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Let Grow Summer Independence Challenge, a free program encouraging children to build independence, has come to Reading this summer, according to the town. Details on how families can take part are available through the town's website.
