Monday, April 27, 1:47 a.m. — Suspicious Person: A male caller reported being followed by someone with a firearm near the 60 block of Van Norden Road.
Monday, April 27, 8:28 a.m. — Road Closure: Grove Street was closed between Lowell and Forest Streets.
Monday, April 27, 8:50 a.m. — General Complaint: A damaged Israeli flag hung from a utility pole near Main Street and Willard Road was reported.
Monday, April 27, 10:17 a.m. — Hazard: A gas spill was reported at the 290 block of Salem Street near Cumberland Farms; fire department responded.
Monday, April 27, 11:48 a.m. — Contractor Complaint: A resident at the 10 block of Carnation Circle reported a contractor overcharging for services.
Monday, April 27, 13:32 p.m. — Larceny from a Building: Missing medication was reported at the 40 block of Pleasant Street.
Monday, April 27, 14:03 p.m. — Lost and Found: A wallet containing two ID cards was turned in to police at the 120 block of Haven Street.
Monday, April 27, 15:57 p.m. — Animal Call: A small tan-and-white dog was found roaming near Charles and Wakefield Streets.
Monday, April 27, 20:48 p.m. — Traffic Signal Malfunction: A walk signal was activating out of cycle at West and South Streets; engineering was notified.
Monday, April 27, 21:49 p.m. — Suspicious Motor Vehicle: A resident reported a vehicle had been watching the apartment complex at the 260 block of Salem Street.
Tuesday, April 28, 7:28 a.m. — Road Closure: Village Street was closed from Haven Street to Green Street.
Tuesday, April 28, 7:58 a.m. — Hazard: A utility access cover was displaced at Kingston and Mount Vernon Streets; DPW notified.
Tuesday, April 28, 8:39 a.m. — Road Closure: Grove Street was closed with limited access near Lowell Street.
Tuesday, April 28, 8:46 a.m. — Suspicious Person: A male was found sleeping across the doorway at the 6 block of Salem Street near Old South Church.
Tuesday, April 28, 10:03 a.m. — Traffic Complaint: A tip was received reporting vehicles leaving the Market Basket area on General Way at a high rate of speed.
Tuesday, April 28, 13:00 p.m. — Trespass: A no-trespass notification was filed and delivered at the 56 block of General Way.
Tuesday, April 28, 13:46 p.m. — Disturbance: Loud music from a neighboring residence was reported at the 46 block of South Street.
Tuesday, April 28, 16:30 p.m. — Mutual Aid: MBTA requested assistance with a fare evader at High and Haven Streets.
Tuesday, April 28, 18:08 p.m. — Complaint Application Filed: A complaint application was filed as the result of a motor vehicle stop at the 160 block of Green Street.
Tuesday, April 28, 23:33 p.m. — Hazard: Water was reported leaking uncontrollably from under a sink at the 18 block of Forest Street; fire department responded.
Wednesday, April 29, 3:54 a.m. — Commercial Alarm: A burglar alarm with office motion detection activated at the 280 block of Main Street near Perfecto's Cafe; no contact made.
Wednesday, April 29, 7:45 a.m. — Road Closure: Village Street was closed from Green Street to Haven Street.
Wednesday, April 29, 8:05 a.m. — Road Closure: Dudley Street near Grand Street was closed for tree work.
Wednesday, April 29, 8:28 a.m. — Road Closure: Grove Street was closed from Forest Street to Lowell Street.
Wednesday, April 29, 8:37 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Hit and Run: A past hit-and-run was reported at the 70 block of Walkers Brook Drive near Chili's Restaurant.
Wednesday, April 29, 10:31 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A resident reported a motor vehicle struck a pole at the 180 block of Pearl Street approximately 40 minutes prior; not investigated on scene.
Wednesday, April 29, 14:57 p.m. — Suspicious Person: A male was reported taking photographs of houses at the 120 block of Belmont Street.
Wednesday, April 29, 16:17 p.m. — Attempted Fraud: A female reported a possible property scam at the 25 block of Green Street.
Wednesday, April 29, 17:39 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Complaint: A vehicle was reported driving erratically on Haverhill Street near Timothy Place.
Wednesday, April 29, 19:13 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Hit and Run: A vehicle was struck in the parking lot at the 50 block of Walkers Brook Drive near Jordan's Furniture; hit-and-run investigated.
Wednesday, April 29, 20:17 p.m. — Attempted Fraud: A female at the 56 block of Glenmere Circle reported receiving mail for an unknown business at her address.
Thursday, April 30, 7:46 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Theft: A resident reported a vehicle stolen from the 3 block of Archstone Circle at Reading Commons.
Thursday, April 30, 7:45 a.m. — Road Closure: Village Street was closed near Green Street.
Thursday, April 30, 8:10 a.m. — Road Closure: Oak Street near Pine Ridge Road was closed due to a crane in the roadway.
Thursday, April 30, 8:36 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash with no injuries was investigated at the 99 block of Salem Street.
Thursday, April 30, 9:03 a.m. — Road Closure: Grove Street near the 100 block was closed.
Thursday, April 30, 9:15 a.m. — Trespass: A no-trespass order was sought at 6 Salem Street near Old South Church.
Thursday, April 30, 14:05 p.m. — Gas Odor: Fire department responded to an odor of gas inside a residence at the 410 block of Gazebo Circle.
Thursday, April 30, 14:45 p.m. — Gas Odor: Fire department responded to an odor of gas inside a building at the 100 block of Franklin Street.
Thursday, April 30, 16:17 p.m. — Traffic Safety: A group of 25 or more youths on bikes was reported riding in and out of traffic at the 500 block of Main Street near Professor's Market.
Thursday, April 30, 20:25 p.m. — Suspicious Person: A dark-clothed male was reported repeatedly knocking on doors at the 35 block of Lincoln Street near the Met Building.
Thursday, April 30, 21:17 p.m. — Commercial Panic Alarm: A panic alarm activated at the drive-up teller at the 8 block of Walkers Brook Drive near Salem Five bank.
Friday, May 1, 8:00 a.m. — Road Closure: Village Street was closed from Haven Street to Green Street.
Friday, May 1, 8:36 a.m. — Road Closure: Grove Street near Lowell Street was closed with limited access; detours were in place.
Friday, May 1, 11:33 a.m. — Suspicious Person: A male was reported camping in the woods near the Mattera Cabin off Pearl Street near Bare Meadow Recreation Area.
Friday, May 1, 12:42 p.m. — School Area Patrol: An officer provided a police presence at Barrows School on Edgemont Avenue in connection with a prior case.
Friday, May 1, 13:11 p.m. — Hazard: A detail officer requested a utility response for energized wires at West and South Streets.
Friday, May 1, 13:35 p.m. — Wire Down: Fire department responded to a wire down at Salem and Pierce Streets.
Friday, May 1, 14:31 p.m. — Suspicious Person: A possibly homeless male was reported looking into windows and lying on a bench at the 640 block of Main Street near Latham Law Offices.
Friday, May 1, 17:57 p.m. — Attempted Fraud: A male at the 55 block of Walkers Brook Drive reported paying for services that were not rendered.
Friday, May 1, 18:44 p.m. — Disturbance: Approximately 25 teens were reported fighting at the basketball court at Memorial Park, 62 Salem Street.
Friday, May 1, 20:48 p.m. — Disturbance: An employee at McDonald's on the 410 block of Main Street reported 15 to 20 youths causing a disturbance; officers found youths driving bikes inside the restaurant.
Friday, May 1, 21:13 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Complaint: Multiple calls reported a wrong-way driver at the 290 block of Salem Street near Cumberland Farms.
Friday, May 1, 23:00 p.m. — Disturbance: A large group of teens was reported throwing bottles in the street at the 36 block of Howard Street.
Saturday, May 2, 00:52 a.m. — Disturbance: Loud music was reported coming from a residence at the 200 block of Forest Street.
Saturday, May 2, 2:11 a.m. — Motor Vehicle: A pickup truck was reported parked in the middle of the road at Middle and Union Streets.
Saturday, May 2, 16:46 p.m. — Hazard: A leaking medical oxygen tank was reported at the 56 block of Libby Avenue; fire department responded.
Saturday, May 2, 17:43 p.m. — Suspicious Person: A male was reported on the train tracks at High and Haven Streets; officers checked the area.
Sunday, May 3, 10:29 a.m. — Vandalism: Youths were reported vandalizing a home at the 120 block of Howard Street; described as an ongoing issue.
Sunday, May 3, 11:46 a.m. — Fire Alarm: Fire department responded to an odor of something burning with an alarm sounding at the 36 block of Augustus Court at Reading Woods.
Sunday, May 3, 14:25 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-car crash with no injuries was reported at the 1340 block of Main Street near HomeGoods.
Sunday, May 3, 16:16 p.m. — Animal Attack: A male reported being attacked by a dog at the 62 block of Oakland Road near Reading Memorial High School.
Sunday, May 3, 16:52 p.m. — Suspicious Person: A male in dark clothing was reported yelling at people near the 160 block of Main Street near House of Bagels.
Sunday, May 3, 19:58 p.m. — Carbon Monoxide Alert: A carbon monoxide detector activated at the 14 block of Nichols Road; fire department responded.
Sunday, May 3, 21:33 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash with no injuries was reported at the 76 block of Mill Street.
