Reading home sale prices range widely as September closings top $1 million
Reading recorded 19 property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3. Of the nine sales with a price on file, prices ranged from $280,000 to $1,175,000, with a median of $800,000. The month's top sale was 51 Mt Vernon St at $1,175,000, sold by Charles G. and Maria S. Linderman to Brian Hellrigel and Madeline King. Ten transfers, more than half the month's total, do not yet show a recorded price. Among priced sales, six fell between $500,000 and $1 million, pointing to a market centered in that range this period.
